As mentioned below, they also must have the knowledge of label printing software, Bartender. It is a Windows shop and the programs would work with Microsoft SQL Server. I have one program in particular that I would like written that involves printing shipping carton labels based on the data in our order management system What we are looking for is a program to print shipping labels and to record the information about the labels needed for EDI Advance Shipping Notices. The shipping labels have a layout mandated by the customer and contain information such as PO #, product number, and destination warehouse. Each label is uniquely numbered and has a barcode of the number in the UCC-128 format. Our order entry and processing system is written in Cobol and uses a Microsoft SQL Server database. We are currently using software called Bartender for our label design and printing.
