They will be configuring new devices and de-configuring old ones as well as doing traffic grooming and equipment failures. More specifically, they will be tuning up 10 gigabit and 100 gigabit internet circuits. In addition, these Network Engineers will be mitigating and troubleshooting 10-15 incidents a day and writing proper documentation for them. Must Haves: • 5+ years of experience working with Juniper equipment (Juniper MX and QFX-series devices/routers and switches) • BGP routing protocols in a multi-provider internet environment (Community strings, IP addressing, and Autonomous System Numbering) • Previous work experience with any Internet Service Provider (ISP), carrier, or cloud based company Plusses: • Previous experience working with high speed internet circuits (10 gigabit and 100 gigabit internet circuits).
