*Position title: Quality Assurance Analyst Interview : SKYPE Location: Torrance, California Duration of Contract: 2+ years* *Rate-35$/hr.* :- * THEY WILL PREFER ONLY 1 ROUND IF A CANDIDATE IS LOCAL TO CA* * Requirements for candidate: ** Candidates that are *local* and close to Torrance, California is ideal – Honda does not like relocations (and very rare they hire C2C candidates that require relocation) * Candidate must have *good* communication skills ** Must have 2-3 years of experience with QA Testing* * Must be able to do phone interview as well as face to face interview – Honda will entertain a “Skype” interview if they must relocate – but they most likely won’t be considered *NOTE:** Nishcal – all C2C candidates that have been hired by Honda in the past were all local to California and were near Honda and were able to do face to face interviews. We’ve seen this trend with them and have tried multiple times submitting C2C candidates that had to relocate and had no success in gaining interviews. We came close with a C2C candidate in the past that got an interview request because he was close to Honda – but was not selected because his communication skills were not good (even I had a difficult time understanding him).* *Position Description: Responsibilities* - Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status - Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and - improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs - Documents all problems and assists in their resolution - Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners - Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed *Daily Tasks Performed* - Publish & Present Weekly Project QA Status to IT management and project team. - Facilitate/Coordinate Quality Artifact Review meetings - Monitor/Track QA deliverables and mentor - Create Traceability Matrix - Import Requirements and/or Test Cases to Quality Center as required - Review Test Plans for content - Mentor Honda Staff - Review Test Cases for appropriate content - Help to facilitate Defect (bug scrub) meetings - Manage escalation to resolve conflicts and enforce decisions *Required Skills- Musts* - BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or field or equivalent work experience. - Broad knowledge of QA practices, policies and methodologies - Broad knowledge in creating and maintaining quality assurance documentation (Test plan, test cases/scripts, defect reports/analysis etc.) - Strong ability in using QA functional and performance testing tools to create, maintain and execute test scripts - Broad knowledge in SQL using Oracle and/or SQL Server - Strong ability to multi-task and perform testing on multiple simultaneous projects - Strong ability to self-direct with a high degree of initiative, ability to team and adapt to new technologies quickly - Strong ability to document and concisely communicate problems to developers *Business Experience* - 2 to 3 years system development, testing, and/or business experience *Wants* - HP Quality Center, UTF -- Best Regards Mohit Arora [email protected] *201-620-9700* ** 152 * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
