Serve as the administrator for Cloudera Hadoop environment. This individual will deal with complex, interrelated applications and systems being designed for today's big data platforms, and will work with rapidly evolving technologies and internal stakeholders to analyze and define unique and innovative solutions for achieving Ally's strategic business goals. Job Responsibilities • Responsible for implementation and support of the Cloudera Hadoop environment and tools used in Hadoop ecosystem • Involves designing, capacity arrangement, cluster set up, performance fine-tuning, monitoring, structure planning, scaling and administration • Work closely with infrastructure, network, database and application teams to ensure business applications are highly available and performing within agreed on service levels • Accountable for storage, end-to-end performance tuning and volume management of Hadoop clusters and MapReduce routines • In command of setup, configuration and security for Hadoop clusters using Kerberos • Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and performance • Manage and analyze Hadoop log files • File system management and monitoring • Develop and document best practices • HDFS support and maintenance • Responsible for the new and existing administration of Hadoop infrastructure • Development experience with Sqoop, Impala, Hive and Spark • Resource and security management using Cloudera Navigator and Sentry • Proactive monitoring of Hadoop cluster • Conduct detailed analysis of system and application architecture components as per functional requirements -- Best Regards Mohit Arora [email protected] *201-620-9700* ** 152 * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
