Length: 3 Months contract Client: Western Asset Management Site: Pasadena, CA The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting front office reports and related systems. Regularly meets with the supervisor to review progress and problems related to the job. More specifically, he/she will apply the use and knowledge of Excel VBA, SQL and other languages as required in the design and development of front office fixed income portfolio management reports and related applications and systems. He/she will also play a key role in providing production support of related systems and operations in a timely and professional manner. Competencies: • Strong experience and knowledge in developing Excel VBA reports for institutional front-office fixed income users • Strong experience and knowledge in Oracle SQL • Experience in any of the following additional programming languages: Python, Java, and/or .NET Specific Business Knowledge and Experience Preferred: • Strong experience with and knowledge of a front office fixed income applications, products, and portfolio management • Strong experience with and knowledge of a broad array of fixed income and derivative products • Strong experience with and knowledge of fixed income analytics as related to portfolio management • Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and capable of independent critical thinking and problem solving Thank you!!
