Please go through the below requirement and let me know your interest Job Title : Oracle Apps DBA Location : San Jose, CA Duration : Contract Note: H1B candidates Needs to provide: Visa, Photo ID & Passport Job Description: Oracle Database administrator: Minimum 8 years hands on Oracle Apps DBA experience in supporting complex production environment in customer facing role -Support multiple instances (Production, Test, QA and Development) of Oracle EBS 12 & 11i and Oracle database 10g, 11g, 12c -Support and implement high availability environment using Oracle Real Application Clustering, Data Guard, 10g Grid, RMAN, Parallel Concurrent Processing, ASM, OEM, Diagnostics, Tuning, Configuration and Provisioning Pack. -Ensure enterprise database environments are in optimal condition, manage production databases in Client environments, and support complex problem-solving challenges. -Improve the quality and reduce defects in all database environments and Application server environments by providing performance and tuning. -Perform backup and recovery procedures using RMAN. -Follow back up procedures to ensure the recoverability of all production data for operational and business continuation needs. -Provide Level 3 and Level 4 application database administration production support to resolve complex problems including on-call support 16/7 and closing of helpdesk tickets. -Coordinate with data security to provide appropriate security, SOX compliance and secondary authorization. -Communicate, manage and monitor production Service Level Agreements (SLA) with local and remote users. -Ensure sound database definitions, structures and documentation. Perl, Shell & PL/SQL: 1. At least 5 years of experience in real-world Perl scripting and excellent knowledge of PERL, Unix shell programming. 2. The ability to create modular, reusable opaque components in object-oriented Perl and Shell. 3. Should have descent knowledge of SQL. 4. Knowledge on oracle database concepts is a plus. 5. Should have worked on developing the backend perl/shell scripts integrating with frontend technologies like JAVA/JSP/PERL CGI. 6. Good Knowledge in PERL CGI . 7. Advanced PL/SQL developer experience 8. Performance Tuning 9. Database Design 10. Excellent Communication skills 11. XML Parsing 12. Experience with creating and maintaining Views (Materialized Views) • Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL applications built off of Oracle 11g/WebLogic environment. • Develop documentation for application and code. • Working with users and application stakeholders to verify and validate requirement. • Working with other Java/Oracle Developers and DBA to collaborate on application development. • Prescribe standards to simplify interpretation of programs and documentations as well as supervise the preparation of records and reports. • Require detailed and comprehensive knowledge of employer's applications and systems. • Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude. • Knowledge in writing packages/procedures for Java facing applications.
