*Position: Business Systems Analyst III* *Duration: 1 year contract* *Location: Exton, PA* *Description:*The person in this role will work on projects centered on SAP finance master data, GL accounts, etc. He/she will maintain maps between the company’s financial system and HFM system (reporting) and willprovide Month end support to Global Business Services and its support groups that run the month-end transactions ( run the upload into SAP and HFM). *The Business System Analyst is responsible for ensuring that:* · SAP based users requests are addressed while ensuring the MI processes are followed · SAP based business processes are fully supported from an MI perspective to ensure no interruption · The SAP environment changes in response to normal business operations, process improvement initiatives and as the SAP global footprint expands. o The SAP user base is also diverse, including members of Commercial, Corporate, Research and Development and Technical Operations Functions. Maintaining data integrity therefore requires the job holder to: § Be responsible for requests within the SAP Master Data and Map change control service to ensure compliance with global SAP MI policies across various business units § Conduct a global support service to SAP and Hyperion users to ensure that Financial Close, Budget and Forecast process are unaffected by MI operations. § Perform a business partnering service to ensure that MI meets and supports the development goals of MI customer groups *Responsibilities:* · *30% -* Responsible for performing ongoing Operational MI Tasks (SAP Master Data Creation/Modification including GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Internal Orders and Profit Centers) and providing the support relating to ensuring the linkage of those SAP Objects to Hyperion remains intact. This includes: o Processing multiple requests from customers representing various areas of the business o Acting as a liaison between various groups to process requests that may have a cross functional impact o Ensuring all business needs are understood and met while also ensuring the MI processes and protocols are followed o Extracting SAP Master Data and related information for reporting and analysis o Mass uploading of new SAP Master Data and/or uploading of changes to existing SAP Master Data o Working closely with the SAP Technical Team to process requests that may require technical or configuration related changes o Working with other members of MI Team who are responsible for JD Edwards Master Data o *30% - *Participate in business critical process support (Financial Close, Budget, and Forecast) and responsible for ensuring MI related processes are followed.
