*Position : Automation QA* *Location : Roseland, NJ* *Duration : 6 month * *USC/GC/GCEAD* *Interview : First round phone screen and a face to face interview is required.* *Job description below – * Client is looking for an Automated QA, someone with no less than 2-3 years experience using the Actimize platform. Senior QA tester needed to test plan, manually execute test cases, run existing QTP scripts and write HP Quality Center/ALM BPT test scripts for AML project implemented using Actimize product using Agile Scrum methodology. Excellent communication skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements. - Execute manual tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. - Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. - Create automation scripts using HP’s ALM BPT tool. - Execute and maintain automated HP ALM QTP automated test scripts. - Perform other duties as assigned. *Requirements Must Haves* - 7+ years minimum of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience. - In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies. Expertise in testing within an agile methodology is required. - 2 years working experience on Actimize Platform - Must have worked on RCM and SAM modules - *Required*: 2+ years of hand-on experience writing automation scripts with HP Quality Center / QTP. Ideally candidate with HP Quality Center or ALM Business Process Testing (BPT) automated test tool experience as this is the specific tool we are using. - Experience in developing data driven tests and writing QTP/UFT functions using VB Script. - Experience in QTP/UFT object repository -Good SQL Testing Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered. - High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. *Nice to Have /Plus* - Experience with Rally also desired - Strong SQL skills (working knowledge with TOAD a plus) - Web services testing using tool such as SOAP - Experience automating Web Services/Database testing using UFT a plus.
