*Skills: Knowledge of and analysis experience in the following
technologies: *

*o             Service Orientated Architecture patterns/approaches. *

*o             Knowledgeable in databases and data integration patterns and
tools (e.g., web services, SQL, stored procedures, etc.) *

*o             User Interface Design *

*o             Innovative thinker, creative problem solver and energetic
and self-starter *

*o             Any experience with Thunderhead will be a plus *

*Group Analysis and Architecture (GAA) Systems Analysts act as assistants
to project architects. *



*Their mission is 3-fold: *



*1) Collaborate with architects to research and detail areas of an
architecture *



*2) Provide input to the system design process through the analysis and
documentation of individual component behaviors and integrations *



*3) Create materials that describe how a solution fulfills a project's
business requirements, i.e. author the 'instruction manual' to the solution
*



*Note that Group IT collaborates with Enterprise Architecture but also
contains its own Solution Architecture function. *



*Systems Analysts prepare documentation that is clear to multiple audiences
including business partners and therefore must be strong communicators. *



*Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an
advanced degree preferred and at least five, typically seven years of
solid, diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of
education and work experience. Self-directed individuals with excellent
communication and problem solving skills a must. *





*Responsibilities: *

*Analyzes business operation processes and requirements; defines system
process, functional requirements, data requirements and flows, service
interfaces, and user interface requirements to meet the defined business
requirements. *

*Documents solution requirements using process flows, functional
specifications, data/entity flow diagrams, story boards, User Interface
specifications, integration specifications, etc.*
