*Title: Software Engineer (.NET)* *Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Local preferred)* *Term: 12+ Month term* *Interview process: - 1-hour phone conversation (2 lead developers) --> an in-person interview (1 hour); could do final interview via Skype if needed* *Required skills:* .NET/C#, Entity framework, ASP.net MVC, JavaScript/JQuery, SQL Server * 5+ years of .NET/C# Development experience * Requires excellent English communication *Positions Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Details (size, scale, scope)* Main application supporting will be a regulatory reporting system – calculates how much cash they need to keep in reserve to be in compliance with security commission – in order to do that have to get data from about 100 sources This is all mandated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the SEC. Originally contracted out the original coding done with MVC for the project – uses a lot of design patterns/overrides/abstracts and highly architected and now working to maintain Almost all maintaining of the reporting systems and then doing small upgrades as needed (not typically new development as system is already set up) *What are the top 3 MUST HAVE requirements of the position (years exp, technical, etc.)?* 1. C#/.Net Framework, 2. Microsoft SQL Server, 3. Entity Framework – for interfacing between database and the application 4. ASP.net Web Forms MVC 5. Basic JavaScript/JQuery *NICE TO HAVES:* 1. SSIS 2. SSRS – a few ancillary reports right now – may need to be able to work with in the future 3. Design patterns 4. More JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery – web client (officially support IE) – how the browser communicates with the server etc. *Job Description* *Level of experience needed:* - 5-10+ years of experience - Senior-level *Non-Technical:* 1. Problem-solver/analytical 2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 3.
