urgent need to backfill a consultant that’s been doing work for Ford in
Dearborn, MI.

· Fully onsite (so will need someone who is okay with 100% travel
or local to Detroit)

· This role is 95% SQL Dev / 5% Platform
Since the start date is quickly approaching, we’re hoping to have all
candidates in the process by Monday to give us enough time to vet them out
thoroughly. They will have a conversation with the HR Rep from Blue Chip
and a technical screen with a Blue Chip consultant, followed by a screening
call with MCS (Ford’s vendor mgmt).

- *Programming -- scripting / stored procedures. *
- *Able to support Ford DBA team on care and maintenance
(including defining changes). Work through Ford DBAs for any changes
needed to production.*
*Below is the additional info provided on 2/14/17:*
*As a staff aug. position, the Role is dev ops SQL DBA, with
responsibilities focused on managing the data and code for an internal
application database, supporting application development release
activities, and working with a cross-functional team to extend the existing
data model. Additionally fostering knowledge transfer to support groups
and implementing new SQL Server features/functions as proof of concept.*
*Some key experience background items the replacement will need:*
- *Extensive T-SQL development, optimization and debugging background*
- *Change Data Capture/CDC*
- *SQLCLR*
- *Data movement of large data sets across multiple environments*
- *Availability Groups usage and troubleshooting*
- *Understanding of data warehouse concepts and downstream consumers*
