*Openstack System Admin* *Location: Atlanta, GA (will hire off skype)* *Duration: 6-12 month * *USC/GC/GCEAD* The key job requirement is a OpenStack system admin with a broad skillset that includes cutting-edge administration techniques such as scripting with languages like Python and Ruby. *Responsibilities:* o Engage with Cloud Service Operations in support of ITIL incident, Change, and Problem management o Define and evangelize cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve automation, availability and performance o Deploy and support a private development cloud (compute, storage, networking) with an emphasis on OpenStack. o Document EC9 Platform operations and provide run books to the Command Center *Required Experience:* o Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience o Cross-functional infrastructure experience with Systems, Storage and Networking O Deep technical capability around OpenStack, Cloud Foundry and other open source cloud technologies o Expertise in Virtualization technologies – KVM preferred o Experience in Neutron troubleshooting. o Experience in operations and configuration of HPE Helion OpenStack. o Knowledge of the operating models for private cloud, IaaS, and PaaS technologies o Deep knowledge of Linux/*nix system administration and troubleshooting. o Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery o Strong communication skills, written and verbal o Strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem solving skills o Proven experience with automation and/or scripting language (PowerShell, Perl, Chef, Ansible, etc).
