The Senior Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a secure, stable, and optimally-performing endpoint environment across nationwide footprint of communities. Key responsibilities include image development and maintenance, endpoint configuration and policy, endpoint standards, and technical solution design and implementation. The Senior Endpoint Engineer will be called upon to display initiative toward improvement and optimization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience managing desktop technologies (imaging, configuration, infrastructure, scripting, etc.), experience with network and Microsoft server technologies, excellent documentation, communication, and project management skills, and aspires to join a high performance team of technical enthusiasts providing quality customer service and effective technical solutions, in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. *Excellent communication skills. Will have client interview* • Operational responsibility for the endpoint management infrastructure utilizing: o McAfee ePO (anti-virus and encryption) - Group Policy - Linux and Unix client • Design and implement top quality technology solutions for internal customers, focusing on both quality design and operationalization, and participate in the testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality. • Contribute to major technical projects, and lead or contribute to small-medium technical projects, as assigned. • Design, create, and maintain stable and efficient endpoint images/builds. • Create and maintain software deployment packages. • Design and create reports within management systems (SCCM, ePO, etc) for strategic decision making (licensing, patch/vulnerability, asset intelligence, fleet health, etc.) • Assist in driving efficient team operation by evaluating and recommending operational/support tools. • Develop yourself by staying current on industry trends and new technologies.
