I have at least three in my IVT department and there are multiples in
specialty areas. They have not been used since a few months after
purchasing.. Comments: only shows surface veins, takes too much time?,
won't work half the time. And we only got them early last year. Now if
really difficult to find a vein, IVT will use ultrasound to locate one

Wondering if I can get some opinions
One unit in our system is requesting purchase of a "Vein Finder" namely
Venoscope ll transluminator to help with their difficult sticks. I am
sure
this technology has improved but always heard that they werent much good
.
Any thoughts?? that I can report back or if this is a reasonable
solution
any one using a product that is better?
