I can send you a slide of a picture of a dilantin infiltrate and what a lawsuit 
costs by the three published cases.  The only problem with the published cases 
are they are not dilantin
 
Most of these cases as Lynn points out are settled out of court
 
Another approach would be to cost out the catheter replacements due to chemical 
occlusion.  Replacements are expensive.  I can send you an article that 
specifies the operational cost of replacement

Hello everyone,
 One of my pharmacists here is trying to convince the administration to switch
to phsphenytoin from our current phenytoin. Problem is it is about  8 times
more expensive.
  He asked if I could find out:

  If anyone has seen legal cases regarding damages paid as a result of injury
  from dilantin infiltration.

  If so what kind of monies were involved?

  Can anyone reference any articles regarding this issue specific to legal
  ramifications of dilantin infiltrates?
