At NYU Clinical Cancer Center we use the Baxter Elastomeric infusion pump for our Folfox therapies. We have minimal problems with non infusion. We have had times that it has completed infusion pre 48 hours, maybe by about 2 hours. Our docs are OK with this. Extended infusion time may be 30 - 60 minutes the Max. We also remove all clamps on the Huber extention tubing. We have been using this device for at least 3 years. Our patients feel comfortable using this device.
