I would like to ask other users, however, if they have experienced any recent difficulties during TPN infusions. We had absolutely no problems for years, then all of a sudden, we've had a flurry of issues with upstream occlusion alarms (when there IS no upstream occlusion). This seems to have happened since they changed the hi-volume tubing to the integral anti-siphon valve. Pump works fine when TPN is running on a 9 volt battery, but problems occur when we're using the AC adapter &/or power pack. We're working with Smiths to try to resolve.
