We have recently introduced an online course addressing the needs of nurses who care for patients with PICCs and midlines including candidate identification, definitions, types of therapies, nursing care and complication management. A nurse preparing to learn the insertion of PICCs could use this course as a starting point because this information is the same as in our PICC insertion course currently offered in a traditional classroom. Please contact me privately for more information. Lynn

Does anyone know of any courses (theory and hand's on) for inserting PICCs
in either the Canadian Prairies (Manitoba, Saskatchewan or western Ontario)
or in Northern US states, like North Dakota or Minnesota. Or any distance
courses on the theory portion.

Thanks so much

Donna
