Catheter days

If I have 3 picc related bacteremias in6435 cath days ... is it reported as
0.47?  Am I doing this right?  Do I do the same for occlusions?  If I have 6
occlusions in 645 days would I report it as 9.3?  Sorry, I know this is pretty
basic stuff but someone questioned me and now I'm having doubts?
