There have been some comments about the invision plus being neutral displacement.  Here is what I know
Nelson Laboratories, Inc. Salt Lake City, UT - a major testing lab for medical device companies was the lab that conducted all of the fluid displacement tests on all of the I.V. connector systems.

They reported the InVision-Plus Neutral I.V. Connector System had a fluid displacement of 0.000mL (-0.000ml/+0.002mL) at connection - and 0.000mL (+/- 0.000mL) at disconnection.  This was confirmed by three major medical device companies who conducted internal studies.

Never heard about pieces coming off during swabbing.    The InVision-Plus went through 25 different functional tests for the safety and efficacy data for the FDA.
It is approved for saline flush only.
