It's DR MAKI--and when we last spoke about this in January someone suggested saying row row row the boat 3Xs while "Scrubing the Hub" from all sides--I have incorporated this into my practice and passed the suggestion on to others

Although I did not attend, there were anecdotal reports on this list serve that Dr Maffi (?sp) who spoke at the AVA conference in January recommended 10-15 seconds of scrubbing.  I may be mistaken, please correct me if I am wrong.

We have a little controversy about how long you should scrub a injection cap/port/hub with alcohol. Anyone has some literature about this?

Thanks.
