Hey all !
For those of you using Ultrasound, I have a few questions.
1--Do you take a pic of the wire or the catheter in the vessel
2--If you take a pic, how is it oriented?
a--Do you see a cross-section of the vein( circular with just the glowing dot of the wire/catheter)
b--Or do you do a longitudinal picture showing the length of the vein with the wire/picc sitting in the vessel going aross the screen.
c--both
3--Do you print out the picture and include it in the chart?
a--Does this picture get sent to the insurance company along with the billing?
We were just discussing all the above, I was curious what others are doing. Thanks for sharing!
