Hello everyone,
Was wondering :
1.Are any of you using this drug regularly for IV infiltrations?
Since it came back on the market, our Therapeutic Standards Committee
of Pharmacy only approved for chemo infiltrations, with the caveat that
we study the drug in other children for effectiveness. We decided to do
this because there are no people studies, only anecdotal reports and
animal studies. We are preparing IRB now.
2. If so what drugs and how effective has it been for you?
Some of the chemo drugs based on ONS guidelines. Seems to help the
wound not progress, but only have used once so far. Does not seem to
harm the wound in any way.
Thanks! Jose
