We have had luck with Primapore also, but since it is a gauze dressing,
it has to be changed every 48 hours according to standards.  Sometimes
that frequent changing interval seems to denude the skin more.

What about primapore dressings. When I have a patient that begins
showing
reddened areas under the tegaderm dsg. I immediately redress with the
primapore and that seems to take care of the problem.
