We just went through JCAHO review and were told we needed to change our consents to make them more specific. For example, they want you to list not only the risks specific for that procedure, but also what the alternatives are and what the risks are for those (the alternatives) as well as the risk of doing nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? Would any one be willing to send me a couple of you PICC consent? Thanks in advance, Kathleen Witt, RN,
