Subject: catheter size for blood transfusion
I have searched the archives and can't find a post I was sure I saw
recently that addressed catheter size for blood transfusions. The post I
remember gave references regarding there was not a need to use a large bore
catheter. I remember the person replying giving reference to the AABB,
Royal Nurses and INS. Anyone remember it? Or was it something I read
somewhere else?
