That is what our infection control has said. Think about the patients and
x-ray & other procedures. I would venture to guess a good wipe down is more
that what happens at some places.

Subject: Ultrasound, and MRSA

Greetings!

I'm wondering what you do to protect your ultrasound equipment when you take
it into a room where the patient has MRSA. Do you differentiate if the
patient has the MRSA in a covered wound or if it is in the sputum? So far
I'm just doing a good wipedown.......is that enough?

Thanks!
