We,too, have access to Micromedex and CareNotes. I don't like the Spanish
PICC materials they have--misspellings,poor word choice,misinformation...so
I was hoping someone had something better. I'll probably just end up writing
up my own, though. (Not that the hospital will ever actually pay me both RN
and interpreter wages--:) )
Thanks,
David

When I look at the "Micromedex" (electronic data base that most hospitals
subscribe to- check your medical library or?) "Patient Education" or
"CareNotes" section and type in "PICC" it returns pre-care,insertion info,
and aftercare both in English and Spanish. Also a section for implanted
ports and tunneled catheters.

Does anyone have any PICC-related materials in Spanish, especially
discharge or home-care instructions, they'd be willing to share?
Gracias,
David
