Pt dx:
Attending MD:
1. Place PICC line. ( we don't specific type of PICC cause the docs can't tell the difference; it's up to the PICC nurse although we don't always agree 100%).
2. May use L-MX (lidocaine 4% creme) topically and/or 2% buffered lidocaine 1- 5 mls subQ prn PICC placement.
3. Stat post-placement CXR.
4. PICC shower cover if patient desires.
5. Refer to IR if PICC RN unable to place PICC.

Does anyone have any Routine PICC Orders that they could share? I am revising ours and dont wont to leave anything out.
