Steri Strips

All our Bard PICC kits come with STAT-LOCK--It's the Gold Standard for Catheter securement--Have not used strips for years

 One of the infusion Nurses just came back from some seminar and it was stressed not to secure the PICC line with steri strips, due to the fiber in the Steri strip. Since we are not allowed to suture the PICC in, how is everyone securing their PICC lines? BARD still has steri strips in their kits, so I wonder about this.
