There is an area hospital which "labels" pts as "hard vein". They actually call the IV nurses and the lab personnel "hard vein". I found it quite strange when I first started there. Nurses would come up to me and say, "Are you hard vein?" "No, My name is Susan and I am the IV nurse!"
