If you have a company that makes custom kits for your surgeons in the OR, IR docs in the Cath Lab, etc, then they may already have a large sterile drape that they could package for you. We work with a company called Cardinal Health that maKes allt he custom OR, Cath Lab and other kits. We use a custom PICC Prep Kit and custom PICC Accessory Kit. It has nearly everything we need in it. They can configure nearly anything and everything that can be gas sterilized. Exceptions are NO VIAL; the gas can't escape from the rubber stoppers. There are some other restrictions, but not many. We had a custom PICC drape developed nearly 15 years ago, and have had two companies make them for us. It's about 60" by 48" or a bit larger with a large fenestration. Nicely folded. We also have a large disposable gown in the kit as well as our other supplies.

Talk to your Materials Management of Purchasing Dept for your hospital's custom kit company. Ask to meet with the rep and tell him/her what you want. You'd be surprised at the low cost when you contract to purchase in volume.

I would like to know what companies make large sterile drapes in a
separate kit. I already know Bard has come out with a new maximal
barrier kit. What are others using that are utilizing a full body
drape?

Thanks in advance,
