We've just recently switched to the Curlin pump with very little problems.  The reps have been great-will go and do allnof the inserviceing to clinics and agencies as needed-a big selling point with me as that's usually my job!!  We also provide pumps for home care and oncology clinics and not all of our pt's have nursing agency involvement either.  Our pharmacists are great with trouble shooting, but if they can't get it "fixed" then I'm their next call.  We trialed several pumps before we made a decision and made sure to include our "long term pts'-mostly lifetime TPN.  Of all the pumps they trialed they all preferred the Curlin.

Subject: Curlin vs Cadd Prizm

Our pharmacy is in the final days of deciding on either the Curlin pump or Cadd Prizm for purchase. Does anyone have any remarks or insight into either pump that they would like to share?
We send out to home care and also to an oncology center that uses our pump for their 5FU and desferal patients that go home with them (without home care!) I stay on call for these pumps 24/7 so want to make a good choice!
Thank you
