Is anyone using the
Arrow Power PICCs? They are softer than the Bard
PowerPICCs,
have a tapered tip,
and the lumens open one at the end and one at the side of the
cath.
I've thought
that the softer catheter might be more likely to flip out of the SVC
on
power injection--and
the allowable rate of injection is 4ml/sec(rather than
Bard's
5
ml/sec).
Any comments
or expereience with this catheter?
