Apparently, approximately 48 million doses of flu vaccine will probably not reach patients.  Great Britain withdrew the license of the manufacturing plant where the Chiron Corp. produces their flu vaccine.  Here is the article:

This means that the flu vaccine will be harder to get and I would think that the grocery store vaccine clinics may not happen this year.  I'm supposed to be getting a flu shot on Monday at my doctors office, but I guess I will have to call and make sure.  If they don't have it I may have to see if the MDA clinic has any.  There is speculation that the government may have to ration vaccines, which may be good news for people who need them, but there is currently no plan in place for what to do if there is a flu vaccine shortage.
