It has happened again. My Newport HT-50 is stuck in the "Stand By" and it is setting there beeping. I had the very same situation as before. I had been using the Vent with it being powered by the internal battery. I switched over to "external power" and then tried to use the vent, That appears to me that the vent is having trouble switching from one source of power to another. I started using this vent almost 2yrs ago and I never had any of this problem until just lately. Switching back & forth is not something new. I've done this ever since I've been using it. Perhaps the computer with in is having a problem?? I don't know but one blessing is the RT has not had time to pick up the LP10 so I'll be back to the alarms again tonight. Any one out there got any tips on the alarms??? It makes me so tired & to be woke up so much.
