Hallo zusammen,
ein gutes Jahr nach dem ersten "Central & Eastern Europe" (CEE) -Treffen
in Haifa, welches ich für Wikimedia Österreich besucht habe und nach
vielen Anläufen eine gemeinsame Konferenz auf die Beine zu stellen gibt
es nun endlich eine Einladung:
Die Wikimedianer aus den Osteuropäischen Ländern wollen sich am 13. und
14. Oktober in Belgrad treffen.
Österreich zählt offiziell zu CEE dazu und die Organisatoren wünschen
sich, dass von jedem CEE-Chapter auch zwei offizielle Vertreter teilnehmen.
Ob / wer von uns teilnimmt steht nicht fest, diese Diskussion möchte ich
hiermit starten.
Allerdings kann ich generell auf unsere Reisekostenverordnung verweisen
- wir haben letztes Jahr bereits (bei einem früheren Anlauf für diese
Konferenz) bereits beschlossen, dass wir die Teilnahme von
österreichischen Wikipedianern finanziell mit Stipendien unterstützen.
Meldet Euch diesbezüglich bitte bei <[email protected]> und gebt kurz
an warum ihr zum CEE-Meeting gehen möchtet, ausserdem wünschen wir uns
nach Rückkehr einen kurzen Bericht hier auf der Mailingliste.

CEE: Call for registration
Dear colleagues,
As you already know, we were working hard in the last period on the
preparations for the first Wikimedia CEE Meeting in
Belgrade<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_CEE_Meeting_2012>.
It will be held on 13-14 October 2012 in the Youth Center in
Belgrade<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgrade_Youth_Center>
.
We would like to invite you to register for the meeting at
http://en.amiando.com/cee2012. The registration code is wmceem2012. The
deadline for the registration is 16 September 2012 at 23:59 (CEST).
Before the registration, please adhere to these principles:
For countries with local chapter
* Please send an official note to the organizers that two delegates are
endorsed to represent the local chapter or the country. If the chapter is
not able to cover the costs for your delegates, we will try to cover the
costs for travel and accommodation for both of them. If the chapter is able
to cover the costs and wishes to send more than two delegates, then they
have to cover the costs for the other delegates starting from the third.
For countries with no local chapter
* Please provide a source to the discussion for endorsing the delegates and
send an official note to confirm the decision. If the delegates are not
able to cover the costs for travel and accommodation, we will try to extend
scholarships for one or two delegates per country. If the community
nominates more than two delegates, then they have to cover the costs for
the other delegates starting from the third.

encourage those who are interested to participate with presentation or to
facilitate any of the sessions to let us know on time, so we will be able
to make the final schedule.

The organizational team is still working on collecting funds that will help
the participants to come and attend the conference. If you or your local
chapter are still interested to help your delegates or colleagues from
other countries to attend, please let us know in order to finalize the
budget.
