since the ED was hired as an on-going consultant and is still within the
organization, the Board’s publicly communicated dissatisfaction with the ED did
not appear to have sufficient rationale for such a radical action. There does
not appear to have been any change in strategic direction since the
termination, and it is likely that a decision not to extend the contract of the
outgoing ED would have achieved the same result at far less cost."

Liebe Liste,
wenn ich das richtig sehe, wird derzeit auf der Liste eher diskutiert,
wer, wann und unter welchen Bedingungen welche Links zu Neuigkeiten an
einen großen Verteiler schicken kann und nicht, welche Neuigkeiten es
gibt.
Heute hat das Mittelverteilungskommittee der Wikimedia Foundation
seine Empfehlungen zu den Finanzanträgen der Runde 1 für das Jahr
2014-2015 veröffentlicht. Darunter ist die Empfehlung für den Antrag
von Wikimedia Deutschland:

Die Empfehlung ist in englischer Sprache und umfasst die Angabe der
beantragten Summe Geld und die Summe, die das FDC empfiehlt. Danach
folgt eine Zusammenfassung der Begründung und weitere Begründungen für
die Empfehlung.
