adding the source and destination, can you please give me some more details
about that? I’ve used no.restrictions instead. Thanks, Francisco From: Greenberg,
Katherine A [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Did you add the source and destination client information
to the altnames directory? Or touch No.Restrictions? (whichever way you want to
do it) ~Kate -----Original Message----- Hello list, I’m trying
to restore files to an alternate client, the log say the restore started but
then nothing else happens and I can see any error from the logs. Using NBU 3.4. The destination
client used to be a netbackup client, and has the client software installed.
I’ve reinstalled just in case. The client is
reachable from the master server by ping and telnet into bpcd port from both
ends, no firewalls in the middle. It used to work fine while it was a regular
client but now I need to restore information to it from another client. Snoop shows no
activity between them both. Master and
media, running solaris 9, client solaris 2.6 I’ve tried
doing this from bpadm and xbpadm with no luck so far. Any help will be
welcome! Thanks, Francisco Log: tail -f
/bplog.rest.009 Restore started
Wed Dec 14 05:10:06 2005 And then nothing
else.
