No. But, I just found out that another admin was not patient with a netbackup stop and so used kill -9 on the bpsched processes. The processes were then like a zombie and would not respond to any attempts to suspend/cancel/slap in the face.
Think maybe I could just go into a directory and wack some files next time I see this? Or should I wack the other admin :-) jk >>> "WEAVER, Simon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 3/1/2006 8:00 AM >>> Bob Can you not SUSPEND the jobs, to allow you to perform this action and then restart? It'll often clean up when the entire running job queue is empty & then the scheduler seems to cleanup these strays. If it doesn't cleanup then, I get rid of them by bouncing my master server processes. Usually getting an idle period is enough to clean these up. -M -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Bob Stump Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2006 9:23 AM To: veritas-bu@mailman.eng.auburn.edu Subject: [Veritas-bu] Unable to cancel queued job I tried to cancel a queued job via the java GUI and could not.
