It looks like Netbackup does recognize the logical volumes as separate drives but it doesn't recognize the partitions on it as being the actual local drives. This causes for example /usr1 and every directory below to be backed up, INCLUDING /usr1/XX and /usr1/XX and /usr1/XXX, while these are also backed up because they're on a different logical volume . On top of that chance are that the root directory (/) and everything below, including ALL separate logical volumes are being backup again! I have never encountered this behavior ant thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Edwin
