Back on version 5.1, I had a similar problem installing NB 5.1 on CentOS 4.1 Adding this rpm fixed the problem. compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-132.7.2.i386.rpm
I suspect the rpm for RH 5.1 may have the same name with different version numbers. I did get the same thing working on CentOS 5.0 but I don't have my install notes any more. run ldd on the executable and see what is missing. ldd /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpminlicense I managed to get NBU 6.5 going on Slackware 12 and ran into the same problem, and with considerable effort was able to satisfy all the requirements to make it work. > Currently running 5.1 on Linux.
