Unfortunately I am in the same situation. I have Aptare and I am happy with
it, but now we have VBR for free, and it will be included in NBU 7.0. My
management doesn't want to pay for the renewal for Aptare :(
It looks like Symantec is going to force a lot of customers to use their
reporting tool rather then anything else. I was hoping to use Aptare for the
storage and VM environment as well. Symantec priced us too high for the
storage side thought.
