I've got a few 2008 R2 domain controllers that are causing me some grief! All the clients in question are running the 6.5.5 x64 bit client and backup to either 6.5.5 or 7 master servers.
Here are the messages I'm seeing on 3 of the 4 servers: 06/16/2010 20:01:06 bckpr1 dc01ns299 from client dc01ns299: WRN - can't open file: System State:\Automated System Recovery\BCD\BCD (WIN32 536935992: Unknown error) 06/16/2010 20:01:06 bckpr1 dc01ns299 from client dc01ns299: ERR - Error encountered while attempting to get additional files for System State:\ All 3 of these servers are physical machines (and finish with status 1s) with the 4th being a virtual machine (which backs up with a status 0). I've not found anything useful on the web at all about this, so anything could be helpful at this point! I've setup VSS on all the clients to no avail, am using the 2008 backup selection of ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES... Thanks!
