LiveUpdate for 7.1.0.2 is supported. From the Web site (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH16 5302): "The NetBackup 7.1.0.2 LiveUpdate containers include all the files distributed as part of NetBackup 7.1.0.2." and the four bundles (win ia64, win x86, win x86 and Unix) are available there. Unless LU has changed since 6.5, it's not the easiest thing to set up (understatement) and get working. Make sure you have the correct lU packages, they've visible on the specified URL, the client end of LU is set up, the LU policy is setup, and a bunch of other details. Sorry I'm not more specific; I gave up on it after a partially successful trial. > 10/10/2011 12:25:01 - Info nbliveup (pid=14762) Updating LiveUpdate > Server location to: http://msback02/LUServer/NBLU_7.1.0.2 > [...] _______________________________________________ Veritas-bu maillist - [email protected] http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-bu
