Hi, I could read the password in main.cf, and it didn't work. Then I tried to put the password in qoutes in main.cf, still didn't work. Last thing I tried was putting the password in a file, as described in the installation guide,only readable by root, but still no luck ... I have an identical cluster installed at the same site, no trouble there, but Sybase is not installed by the same dba, and its ASE-12 and this is ASE-15 .. Regards Jorgen
