Does this apply also to VCS on UNIX? I should have been more clear, this is for VCS on Solaris x86.

Hi Ryan, Yes, VCS Windows 5.1 is available as a standalone product. Here are the specific details from the Software Compatibility List (SCL): Note 01: Support for Microsoft Logical Disk Manager and Network Appliance SnapDrive(tm), SnapMirror and SnapManager is available only with Veritas Cluster Server for Windows (VCSW). These technologies are not supported with Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows or Veritas Storage Foundation HA for Windows. Note 02: Veritas Cluster Server for Windows replaces Veritas Cluster for NetApp SnapMirror. It is a version of Veritas Cluster Server that supports storage management technologies other than SFW, such as Microsoft Logical Disk Manager and Network Appliance SnapDrive, SnapMirror. To utilize the integrated functionality between Storage Foundation for Windows and Veritas Cluster Server, the Storage Foundation HA (or HA/DR) for Windows bundle needs to be used. VCSW and SFW can't be used together if bought separately. ftp://exftpp.symantec.com/pub/support/products/Storage_Foundation_for_Windows/337684.pdf Regards Manuel From: veritas-ha-boun...@mailman.eng.auburn.edu [mailto:veritas-ha-boun...@mailman.eng.auburn.edu] On Behalf Of Anderson, Ryan C (US SSA) Sent: Donnerstag, 10.
