Often (but not all the time) when I rename a file via finder, in
versions I see the old file name marked as missing and the new
filename as unversioned then when I try to commit I get either out of
date errors or file not under version control errors or some other
error about the file not existing or already being under version
control (when it happens again I'll provide the full error).

But if I rename the file from within Versions it marks the original
for deletion then creates the newly named file and automatically marks
it for addition.

Does this mean that I should ALWAYS move, rename, and delete files
from within Versions/Subversion and under no circumstances try to do
those things from Finder or any other file browsing application?
