Thanks for getting back to me. I figured it'd be something like that.
Changing the default settings works thanks, so I can open it and remove the problem repos now. If the safe boot mode ever does work its way into a release that would be great. The issues sorted now, if only by removing (until i get a chance to sort out the server's svn issues out) the problem repos. I've got the crash log here, if you still want it, where would you like it sent?
