Nobody any idea?

Well, I could narrow it down a little bit. I usually commit all
changed files at once. Now I tried every single one individually and
found out, that the text files in the top directory get committed
correctly. The ones triggering the error are jpgs and gifs in a
subdirectory called "img". Has anyone ever heard of such a problem?
